Count to 20 is a concentration warmup.

Players form a tight circle and place their arms around the shoulders or waists of the people next to them. Everyone shuts his/her eyes. Someone says "one," someone else says "two." If two people say a number at the same time, the group starts over at one.

Purpose[]

To calm a group down before a show. To practice patience. To find a mysterious natural pace of the group mind.

Variations[]

  • Players can substitute in any random word for a number. "One" "Two" "Doghouse" "Four."
  • Who Is Gay: Players can use the first or last names of celebrities (who do not have to actually be gay) to go through the alphabet. "Aaron Eckhart" "Angela Bassett" "Carl Monday"
